The Civil War Reenactors Forums are first and foremost a discussion venue. Members are expected to contribute intellectually to the forums and be a participating part of the community. Some high dollar items change hand here on little more than good faith, Paypal, and the US Postal Service.
We like for sellers to be known members of the community.
Junior Members may not use the Classifieds until they have a certain number of approved posts in the discussion forums. We've recently raised that number in response to some problems we've had.
So, it's not a matter of waiting out a time frame. It's about participating, and taking the time to know our sales rules before jumping in. The same is true of other major Civil War Forums.
If you are no longer interested in the hobby, EBay is an excellent venue for volume sales at a small price.
In addition, Facebook has a group operated by Matthew Joe Mallory called The Trade Blanket. It has less restrictive rules and a multi-time period focus.
