The weekend of June 2 and 3 is a good time to examine skirmishing with the North South Skirmish Association. The Middle Atlantic Regional will be at the Springtown Rod and Gun Club in Springtown, Pa. There is no cost to you. Saturday is devoted to shooting paper targets, Carbines in team competition, and the Henry Repeating Rifle. Sunday is team Musket and Team Smoothbore. Shooting starts at 9 am on Saturday and 10 am on Sunday. There is no cost to you. Food is on site for sale. There are flush toilets. If you have a couple of hours to relax, come out and watch and join us.

Members of the North South Skirmish Association will gather and compete at Fort Ross in Southern Lancaster County, Pa. during the weekend of June 23 and 24. This is a live shooting event at paper and breakable targets. You may shoot as our guest to determine if you like shooting a Civil War musket or Carbine. You can not compete for medals. This event for you is more of a meet and greet. Food is available for sale; parking is free; and flush toilets are available. We start on Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm. After that time you can not shoot because teams will be competing in team Carbine and team Henry. Sunday morning is team musket followed by team Smoothbore starting at 9 am and ending around 1:30 pm. Let me know if you are coming and I will load extra rounds for you to shoot. We shoot rain or shine, but the rain makes it miserable.
