To better serve the reenacting community and make the calendar more user friendly, some additional organization has been incorporated and here is a description of how events are organized in the calendar...

\r\n \r\n How are events organized in this calendar?
\r\n
\r\nThe events are organized by the time period they portray and by the primary type of activity planned.
\r\n
\r\nThe categories for time period are available as segregated calendars linked for the following periods: War of 1812 (1805-1825); Expansion (1825-1850); Civil War (1850-1870); Indian Wars (1870-1890); Spanish-American War (1890-1905); and World War I (1905-1925).
\r\n
\r\nThe activity categories are identified by colors and the description of each category are linked in this list:1) Immersion; 2) Semi-Immersion; 3) Living History; 4) Battle Reenactment; 5) Marches; 6) Conferences; and 7) Parades\r\n \r\n

If you wish to add your reenacting event to the calendar please send an email to [email protected] and send the following event information: 1) Event Name; 2) Event Dates; 3) Time Period; 4) Event Type; and 5) Point of Contact Email.
