Re: RED GLASS/PEXI QUESTION

I use a fairly small piece of red glass in my darkbox (approx. 6 x 3 inches). I kept it small to minimize the chance of fogging; even at that size it allows in plenty of light (and I still never allow direct sunlight to hit that window). Painting the inside of the darkbox yellow also signficantly increased the brightness. In my darkroom I first covered the windows with red acetate. Granted, this was on the southern side of a building (meaning direct sunlight), but the red acetate lead to fogging of my plates. I replaced the glass with red glass (the same I use in my darkbox) which alleviated the issue.
