Please, don't attack all at once before you hear me out.
I have been doing Wetplate for a few years now. LOVE IT!
But like anything there has to be a better way.
In short it's been draining.
Mxing and the expense of buying chemicals, pouring of the plates, lugging the dark room around, the prep work...etc.
I was thinking of dabbling in sheet film and try to replicate early 20th century photos.
Anyone know what type of sheet fillm they started to use back then?
Was it Ortho?
If not, then any suggestions on what type of sheet film to use out there that is blue sensitive or use blue filters or UV filters with a certain sheet film to get the same "color blindness" and ISO rating as wetplate or timtype?
I was wondering if you could use John's developer and fixer on sheet film since I have a bunch around.
It's one of those "HMMMMMM..... I wonder if you..." kind of things.
Thanks
Carl
