Darlot Portrait Lens - Serial #30,033 Manufactured in the early 1860s. Darlot lenses were manufactured under the name Jamin-Darlot from 1860-1861. The company was founded in Paris, France, in the 1850's by  Jamin. Darlot was his plant manager. Darlot took over in 1860, and for one year the lenses carried the name Jamin-Darlot.
