Antietam
Torch Light Tour
and Heavy Marching Order Hike
September 17 and 18, 2005
Overview
On Saturday,
during the day the unit will be conducting a heavy marching order hike across
the original battlefield. The total hike will be about five or less miles from
start to finish.
Saturday evening,
for the Torchlight Tour at night, our three big impressions are the Lost Orders,
Provost Claims, and Dunker Church vignettes, and anyone can fall into any of the
other vignettes that strike his fancy, so there is plenty of room and lots to do
for everyone. Unless you already have an officer slot for one of the
vignettes, staff officers should take along their enlisted kits also for
flexibility for the Torchlight Tour. We can also use civilians if you have
an impression.
Sunday will be a
low key company street impression
