Rick started reenacting in 1999 when he joined Co. B, 8th Ohio in Cleveland. He was instrumental in compiling and arranging most of the 8th Ohio’s manual for new recruits currently in use. He has participated in the majority of the National Regiment’s maximum effort events to date and carried the colors in battle for the National Regiment at the 140th Antietam. After serving in the ranks Rick was promoted to 2nd Lieutenant in the 8th in 2005. In 2007 he volunteered to serve as the adjutant for the National Regiment at the September Storm event. Rick looks forward to serving both the 8th Ohio and the National Regiment for many years to come. |
