It is with
pride that the National Regiment presents the 2002 Soldier of the Year
Award
to Corporal James Wassel,
2nd United States
Infantry, Sykes'
Regulars. This year’s La Médaille "Esprit de Corps" continues the tradition of recognizing the best of the best. Jim has been a member of the Regulars since 1992, and during this time he has been an active member of the National Regiment. He has actively assisted in the Regiment's Web site, as well as numerous behind-the-scene activities that are so needed by any dynamic organization. Many know of Jim’s fine work as an artist, and photographer. Now we honor him for his duty to the Regiment.
