Dave was honored in 1998 with the Médaille "Esprit de Corps" for his professional and untiring work with the
musicians of the various units within the National Regiment. Dave
has been in reenacting since 1994, and has been a member of the National Regiment since that time. Dave has introduced dozens of youngsters to
Civil War music, thus bringing to them a very authentic understanding of
history. Moreover, he does it quietly, patiently, and professionally.
When Dave is not directly involved with his regimental duties, he is an active member of the 5th New York. |
