Bill was honored in 1997 with the presentation of the Médaille "Esprit de Corps" for his many contributions in support of
the regiment's need for staff support, as well as his concern for the well
being and safety of the men in the ranks.
Bill, one of the more knowledgeable historians in the Regiment, has been in reenacting since 1980, and has been a member of the National Regiment since 1985. Bill is in charge of the Head Quarters and Staff Advisory Committee, and is the captain commanding, 1st Maryland Volunteer Infantry. |
