Hello all, My wife is part of the above art show and we are one of five photographers. According to the brochures, she will be the only one with ambrotypes, albumen prints. Ray, that is funny. Same thing happened to me years ago, not wetplate but house work. I was moving glass around, stuff for window panes on old places where you have to caulk/putty the panes. Anyway coming out of the basement into a cold Delaware day (yes it was rare but it happens). Michael, I may have a project for you. I have a Century 8, originally a dry plate, maybe collodion has what looks to be be GG pivot points on the left side of rear. The bellows are ok for collodion but if you want to do film would have to be replaced...probably should be replaced anyway. If you do the bellows yourself, it should be easy enough since the bellows are not tapered. The back op

ty, have you tried sunning the silver bath, taking the PH level, and then the SG to determine if the bath is recoverable? Instead of dumping/discarding maybe something can be recovered? Erick

Another question on the developer. Would potassium nitrate have any benefit in the negative developer? I made some but w/ our heat I've slowed a bit on the collodion pours. Ty: I think John's intensification method uses iodine?
