I'm in......driving up for some relief from the heat and humidity of Louisiana. Bringing a few head brace stands with me to sell along with an assortment of plate racks, silver baths and other stuff....been waiting all year for this weekend to come around again....good times, good friends. I hope to be there this year as well.....Got a few new things to show like a new plate rack for the big plate shooters and a plate storage box built using archival metal edge boxes. Will bring some headbrace stands with me too....

You should at least take a workshop from an experienced teacher, that should help you decide if the risk is acceptable. It will also teach you the proper way of doing things so that risk is kept to a minumium. I package them with both slotted and phillips screws, what century you choose to operate in is entirely your choice.....interesting fact about the phillips head screw anyway, thanks for sharing that Ray.

You may want to get together with another photographer to test your systems..... Two cameras, two darkrooms, two sets of chemistry....mix it up using both darkrooms/cameras/chemistry....Through a series of images you can determine if it's your chemistry or hardware.... Good luck, Claude

I'd say it's gotten easy...I wish I had the resources that everyone has today. What would I have given for access to the internet in 1988. Thankfully, What I did have is friends like John Coffer, Bill Dunniway and Mark Osterman.
