Have one very similar except my stand does not have a peg
to hold it in place.
I have a crank handle and another screw
to hold it in place. My stand appears to
be an Anthony Knickerbocker stand with an Acme top.
But, like the one on ebay, I have no identifying marks.Any IDEAS?
1. I don't think that is an Anthony...looks EXACTLY like the American Optical I'm currently restoring...
2. The business end of the sliding back is missing, and in it's current state, you'd never get a holder to attach to the rear.
3. The brass pull for the rear standard is not original...
This is just my observation, although I could be wrong...I don't think its worth anywhere near what the guy was asking for it as its not even useable in its current state and it looks like it has been refinished.
That being said: I agree, its still a sweet camera design and I look forward to getting mine up and running! Needs bellows and a plate holder at this point, as well as replacement hardware for the rear standard - something similar to the fix in that auction would be great!
