I know this usually does not show up on this forum, but I have seen other wet platers use the 8x10 Calumet C-1 "field camera" as the base for a conversion. Mine is the early magnesium version (about 12 pounds) and usually called a “green monster” because of its attractive color. This one is in good shape, some wear, and has about 32” of bellow draw. The bellows corners have been patched, but unless you are using full draw, there should not be any issues. Tossing a dark cloth over them has been ok for film use. It has full movements and locks down. The “wings” on the plastic wing bolt securing the rear extension rail have broken off, but it still locks in place & can be fixed. It uses 6 ¼” lens boards and will support nearly any lens. I have both the 8x10 and 4x5 rotating backs and three lens boards. $400 plus shipping to you. While the shipping weight is not much, it’s really too big to economically ship outside the US (I was quoted $935 to Australia based on the oversize box). Please email me if you have any questions.
Thanks.
Mike
