Voigtlander pre-Euryscop IV – No. 4 for 11x14 – This quality Aplanat/Rapid Rectilinear design needs no introduction, but there were a lot of versions and they were engraved confusingly, so I better give some details. This is the early one before they coined the Euryscop label, but it's the same lens as a Extra Rapid Euryscop IV Series. It is marked 4 and 14 3/4 inch focal length that matches the catalog for a 11x14 coverage. They were listed as F6 but I read F7 on this one.



Condition is excellent. It has a nice patina, came off a studio camera that had been sitting for decades.

Glass also excellent, I see a few tiny dust flecks and perhaps a bubble or two. Just clean the dust and you'll have a killer lens. With Flange (tight, I couldn't unscrew it the few seconds I tried).

A great portrait lens with a glowing reputation. Will work great on 8x10 and might cover larger than 11x14...I have no way to check. Needs about a 5” board.
