I am ordering my chemicals from Artcraft per John's Manual

Being it's winter in Michigan and I am not planning to shoot until spring.

Should I wait to buy Collodion & Ether (if ARTCRAFT sells Ether) until spring?

Does plain Collodion by itself have a long self life with no fear it going bad before I use it in the springtime as well with Ether?

Does Artcraft sell KNC ?

Both come in metal bottles from Artcraft.
I have had ether on the shelves for a few months with 2 results. The half can I had evaporated, the un opened one did not. The glass boston bottle I filled however was also fine. I have had the collodion thicken in the cans once opened but it took months. Likewise in a glass boston bottle no issues.

I don't believe he sells cyanide any more but I don't know for sure. I'm in Il and may be able to deliver some to you eventually. I order through a school so shipping is less. Where on the mitten are you?

Mike (Artcraft) does not sell KCN or Ether anymore.
Shelf life of UNsalted collodion is "supposedly" indefinite. Once salts are added, then the countdown begins. Make small batches as needed.
