I was wondering if there is a site that shows photos of portable darkrooms built by the memebers here?

Wondering if anyone has used a portable ice fishing tent or Portable Cabana Stripe Changing Room or portable privacy tolet and converted it into a drakroom?

Sometimes my work looks like it came out of a toilet

When I started, I made this miniature room with a door and the outside was covered with panneling. I actually had a kid think it was a porta potty. Bruce, do you remember it when you came and met me at Port Hudson a long time ago? The thing ended up blowing over in DeRidder Louisiana in a wind storm and Silver Nitrate was everywhere. That was the last time I used it.

I made mine from 1/4" plywood,with 2x2 lumber for the frame. 4'x 5' x 4 feet high with a peak roof, total 5 feet high to peak. Put a light bench work of 1/4" plywood along in side and end. Caulked all seams.Has a door with latch and a small 10" window covered with red or orange clear plastic that usualy needs to be covered over with a piece of white paper to cut down the light a bit. Added a few 2x2 runners underneath with angled ends for strength and ease in moving.

I put cargo tiedowns on the corners so it can be fastened down in the back of the pickup. It is one man loadable. Looks like a big doghouse. Works great.

I use an ice fishing hut. Works great if you dont have to worry about authenticity. Ty, i do remember your photobooth.

I was always wondering about a portable fishing shanty.

I have never been in one.

Does it block the light pretty ogod?

It does. You have to seal the stitching holes with liquid tape and the zippers let in some light. I made windows with rubylith.
I can set up or. Reak down in abou 10 minutes

Sounds good to me! Another toy to buy!
