After months of designing and construction, I have my new line of wet plate cameras on a roll.
8x10 format folding field plate camera. Having been making historical cameras for the last few years, I have come up with a "modern" design with most of the "bells & whistles" of a modern sheet film camera, but specifically made for wet plate work.
I designed it to be more structurally stable to support heavy brass lenses and glass plates. The lensboard is 7".
