World's Smallest WetPlate Collodion Camera! (?)

Here is my latest innovation in Victorian Miniaturization technology. This is the world's smallest Wetplate camera! (Maybe?) Made it myself out of toothpicks and popsicle sticks! grinning smiley Actualy, 1/32" plywood and various other wood materials. Takes a 1/2" square plate.

It's just a simple double convex I had in my collection of salvaged lenses.

Now that's a portable outfit! What did you use for a darkbox? A matchbox?

Wow, this is fabulous. And coincidental as I was thinking of doing something in the same vein. I had even made a prototype, but couldn't fathom making a plate holder that small. How did you make the slot for the dark slide, homemade tool?

The way I usualy make them is to put a narrow strip along the outer edge of the main frame then put a wider strip over that.
