Will Dunniway & Friends Collodion ‘Dirty Hand’ Workshop -*Alabama Hills at the Mount Whitney Portal, Lone Pine, CA October 27-30, 2011
This is a totally new location. Stunning rock formations in every direction. A collodion photographers dream landscape location. It is where most the Hollywood westerns were filmed, like the Lone Ranger, many John Wayne epics, How the West was Won, etc.
Workshop features 2 1/2 days of intensive hands-on making of glass negatives and ferrotypes (tintypes) in the same manner of C.Watkins and E.Muybridge in the Eastern Sierra’s Inyo Counties renowned Alabama Hills at the Mt.Whitney Portal near Lone Pine, CA.
