I just heard on the radio this morning that Sally Mann was going to be on NPR's "All things considered" today (feb 17th).

I actually can't understand why people get all upset and annoyed when someone expresses their opinion, which we are all entitled to, about Sally Mann. Some like her stuff, others don't...I hate Lasagna, but lot of people like it!
If you're going to be an artist and put your stuff out there for people to see, you understand that not everybody will like it... I'm sure Sally Mann knows this, but she doesn't get all pissed off and have a temper tantrum ah la Chris Brown on Good Morning America, does she?
So, I don't really see what the big deal was with Ray's comment.
