My name's Kevin Hershberger and I'm an 11 year veteran of Civil War
re-enacting. I'm posting this notice/news for anyone who's interested in
reading it and spreading the word...

I'm a screenwriter and one of my scripts "ANGEL OF MARYE'S HEIGHTS" based
on the life of Sgt. Richard Kirkland of the 2nd S.C. is in pre-production
with Marye's Heights Productions, Inc. Another Re-enactor, Bill Bishop,
and I are producing the film with a 3 M budget and sharing Directing
credit.

The film will be shot on location in Virginia and South carolina in
September (24 days) and December (12 days) 1998. The cast will be made
up entirely of re-enactors!

This will be the first (and hopefully not last) film to be made FROM and
BY the Civil War community FOR the Civil war community. maybe hollywood
will finally see a movie that shows what the War was really like!

We are seeking the help of the Civil war re-enacting community in making
this film come to life. re-enactor who work on the film WILL be paid and
taken care of. They will be PART of the film!

Please spread the word to anyone who will listen, and anyone interested
in auditioning for a role or working as an extra needs to send their
photos, resumes, info, etc, to the below address. We hope to have the
cast locked and cocked by the spring season.
