Default Real oilcloth $55; civvy belt $10; &cet

As always, all items include shipping costs; Paypal, Money Order, or personal check ok (except for the groundcloth which is about the only thing more expensive to a buyer than a bounced check!). Please email tscoufalos1@juno.com if interested in anything.

(1) Real oilcloth groundsheet. This is the only thing I have ever made with a period paint recipie. Made of duck; measures about 60 inches long and 48 inches wide. The long sides are roll-hemmed and sewn by hand; the ends are the selvege edges and as such are left raw. There is a reenforcing patch sewn in each corner with a small brass grommet; one of them came out kinda deformed. Used, but just dirty. $55.00

(2) Sutler row jeancloth trousers, made of a cheapy jeancloth. Waist size 36-40, inseam about 33". Side seam pockets. Split waist. Hand oversewn buttonholes. Hand sewn 1" stripes of black worsted for early war; not sewn on real tight...to paraphrase Daniel Chisolm's memoir, "you can depend that the stitches were long". In some places, the stripes are coming loose. Multiple small holes, some fixed...some not. Pretty well used but still have some life left. $25.00

(3) Double billet waistbelt, made my moi. Overall length is about 46". Used, but in good shape. $10.00

(4) A poke sack full of poke sacks. I have a zillion poke sacks. This is a total of a dozen; eleven small ones stuffed in a bigger one. Most if not all are handsewn. Twel' fitty ($12.50)

Thanks much,

I just wanted to exhume this quick to mention that the oilcloth and belt have been sold.

The tries and sacks are still available; I have others for DavEric!

Sorry, I never caught your question; I have no idea what kind of Jean they are unfortunately.
