Prayers are OK but some actions to keep this from happening again are the "lighthouses." Supposedly it was Ben's suggestion as a memorial to be built by survivors of a shipwreak.

In my mind the question is: is the man evil--no; is he a traitor--definitely, and that carries its own sequence of consequences, as anyone who has ever served knows. We will have to wait and see what a Court Martial brings.

From Wisconsin: 467th Medical Detachment & 1908th Combat Stress Unit -2 killed, 4 wounded. http://www.jsonline.com/news/milwaukee/69420037.html. Seems all were from small towns. I cannot add anything meaningful to what has already been said.
