Default One Must Look On for Tomorrow is Another Day

Mr. Thomas,

I believe Mr. Biederman answered this question very well in another thread. He bascially said that the FFD is in a process of establishing new leadership and working things out and that information about the who and what of FFD may be found at http://www.firstfederaldivision.com

I'll bring both uniforms if new Leadership and direction don't work out.

Doug...the 1stFD had a change of leadership this summer, partly as a result of Connor Prairie. Lets see what happens.

Thanks for the response, I heard about CP, few unhappy campers after that event. Good luck with the FFD. We need everyone working together for the 150's.

Doug, FYI, Brices X-roads was NOT an FFD event. Terry Crowder, was supposed to command at Brices. At that time, he was NOT commander of the FFD and I repeat, it was NOT an FFD event.

I was there, riding in a Studebaker.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled program.

Rob

Doug,

The FFD is strong and supportive. Rest assured that the leadership of both of our organizations is well tuned in to the upcoming event. We in Cleburne's, ALL of our membership, will be supportive of the efforts being made by all organizations to make the 150th Cycle and this new partnership that we are developing a success.

The main reason for this thread is to promote the upcoming Twin Rivers Campaign.
Let's not use this thread to discuss and argue past issues with Divisions invovled etc. Mr. Way has made his point clear and links have been posted further for information.
If you have a personal issue with the matter, settle that through PM or email. Let's not open a can of worms on this...which it has potential of doing.

Unlike the rift in the AOT, caused by components being opposed to meeting the already established standards of the organization, the difficulties of the FFD had to do with a loss of confidence by its components in the top leadership to perform both in the field and in coordinating events.

The problem has been addressed by unanimous agreement of the component/battalion commanders, and replacement of top command with men more in tune with the division's goals.

In effect, we wanted to do things better, rather than hang on to lesser goals.
