Question WTB: Hardee's Infantry Tactics - North Carolina Edition

Gentlemen, I am looking to buy the NC version of Hardee's Infantry tactics. Does anyone know where I can get a copy? Recently, one was on sale on Ebay but I missed out at the last moment. Thanks in advance for the advice.

    Default NC Drill Manual

The North Carolina Drill Manual was reprinted quite some time ago (I bought mine at the 125th Gettysburg), and has long been out of print. You may find it difficult to obtain a copy.

However, the contents can be found both online, and as a PDF download that you can print. The NC manual consisted of both volumes of Hardee's revised manual (sans illustrations), combined with the 3rd volume of Scott's tactics. Both of these manuals can be found on the Drillnet site: http://home.att.net/~Cap1MD/Drill.htm

A nice version that you can download and print is the Capitol Guards Drill Manual--both volumes of the revised Hardee's and the third volume of Scott, annotated, with some additional secondary articles as well (one on the evolution of ACW manuals at the beginning, Dom dal Ballo's article on forming the battalion at the end). Available here: http://www.geocities.com/capitalguards/Drill_Manual.pdf

If it's a repro book you desire, then I suggest that you purchase a set of the reprinted revised Hardees that were published a few years ago. I know that they're still around, as I saw them at a few sutlers at the mainstream Gettysburg event a few weeks ago. Scott's manual has yet to be reprinted.
