Default Closet Cleaning - Marine Gear For Sale!

I have the following U.S. Marine items for sale, pictures are attached in subsequent posts:

    1. Enlisted Kepi, size 7 1/4 - 7 3/8. Purchased from Dirty Billy (his standard bound brim federal kepi) and outfitted with original 1880's Marine buttons and a "defarbed" Marine cap emblem. The red posterboard has been replaced with red leather and the wire prongs have been replaced with the correct wire loops. The front of the cap has two small slits to accept these loops. Cap is in very good condition. $60.

    2. Marine enlisted fatigue blouse. Size 40S. Made by Brian Kepner of a lightweight blue flannel. Seams are flatfelled. All buttonholes, topstitching and felling are done by hand. Shirt closes with 4 original 1880's Marine buttons that match the kepi. Shirt is in very good condition. No rips or tears. $125.

    3. Marine summer weight trousers. Waist will fit up to a 35 inch waist. Pants have not yet been hemmed, so they should fit all but the tallest folks. Made of cotton drill with extensive hand sewing. Fly, buttonholes, topstitching and flat felled seams all sewn by hand by myself (Matt Wright). Trousers have the correct mule ear pockets, watch pocket, belted back, and hidden waist button. Never worn in the field. There's one small storage stain (you can see it in the pictures) on the front. It may or may not wash out. The darker area around the stain is where the fabric is wet from my recent attempt to scrub it out. Regardless stain will be hidden by either the fatigue blouse or undress frock when you wear them. $50.

    4. Marine Knapsack. Made by Brian Kepner of painted cloth. Very similar to the Mex-War style pack offered by others. Used once in the field, very good condition. Buttonholes sewn by hand. $150.

Buy the whole lot and I'll throw in an original, non-dig, civil war era Marine cuff button w/ Horstmann backmark.

    Prices do not includes shipping.

    Thanks,
    Matt Wright
