    Default Fort Delaware DHFMS

    The Susquehanna Rifles will be at Ft Delaware on June 6-8th portraying the
    5th Delaware Infantry. We will be portraying a detachment on guard mounting throughout the weekend. We'll be camped in period barracks inside the fort with period meals, the works. If anyone would like to take part please contact me at MrHardcore1864@aol.com

    I am curious, where are you spending the night? I assumed no one is allowed to spend the night at the fort unless it is Garrison Weekend or other special occasions.

    You sleep inside the fort in the confederate officers quarters which is the closet brick building to the sally port second floor.

    There are always those super comfy prisoner barracks just outside the fort. Ahh the memories!

    This IS one of those special occasions.......it was 'supposed' to be the Don Hubbard FM school .....it may be still held, although Jari's shindig in Pamplin Park has generated a lot of 'press'.
