I have a few items that I made for myself, used a couple times, and now donít have any use for.
1. Tait jacket, size 40. Made from a Charlie Childs pattern using old FHW blue grey kersey, vintage Irish linen, and 60+ year old royal blue British broadcloth. Machine and hand sewn as per the originals with corded keyhole buttonholes. Includes a hook and eye in the collar, interior pocket, and size stamps in the lining. It has only been worn once (but that was to BGR), and a small section of the raw edge of the collar interior pulled away from the stitching on the top of the collar, but its not a real problem. $190
2. North Carolina jacket based off of the McRae piece. Entirely handsewn from Mickey Blackís mouse-olive jeans, lined in Tartís osnaburg, and with brass N.C. state seal buttons. This jacket includes beltloops as per how it was originally issued. Size 40 or maybe 42, used once. $190.
3. Grey wool flannel overshirt. This shirt is entirely handsewn and is trimmed with black wool tape from Wooded Hamlet. Could easily fit up to a 44. Used maybe twice and is in great shape. $90
4. 7.5 yards of sheeps grey wool on natural cotton jeanscloth, 54-inches wide. I donít know who made this cloth as I bought it awhile ago off the AC Forum. Could be some old FHW, but its definitely not Childs. Iíd prefer to sell it as one piece for $90, but Iíll sell it by the yard for $14.
PM or email firstname.lastname@example.org if interested and weíll work out shipping charges. I can also email pictures if you'd like.
