Default Federal unit in Greenville, S.C. area?

    Greetings-
I've just moved from Mass. to Greenville, S.C. and was wondering if there were any Federal units within an hours drive of here (S.C., N.C., Tenn.). Either that or I'll fill in for a Reb soldier when their unit has to go blue. I'm a progressive reenactor from the Mass 22nd Vol Inf.
    Your humble and obedient servant,

    Default Burrough's Battery

    Jeff,
This is Steve Cameron with Burrough's Battery. We do horse drawn artillery, CS and US. We also live fire the guns, rifled and smooth bore. We are located in the Knoxville TN area. If interested, you can PM me your address and I will mail you a packet with pictures etc.

    Take care,
    Steve

    Default Madison Guards

    Jeff,

I believe I spoke with you, via e-mail, yesterday. At any rate, if you are a progressive reenactor/living historian, I think that you would probably fit in with our unit, The Madison Guards.Asheville, if you aren't already aware, is only 60 miles from your location.

    Default Scar

I would also throw in S.C.A.R. and the Salt River Rifles as well. We've been getting out alot more the last few years and have some pretty good events on the horizen. http://www.geocities.com/saltriverrifles/ for the Salt River Rifles (Jim Butler) and http://www.geocities.com/scar_civilwar/ for the overall groupings under S.C.A.R.
