    Default Source for cloth?

    Any opinions on most reliable source for undyed wool/jean or cotton jean cloth?

    I would second that. Tart, Brantley & Benjamin is the only current draper that single vat dyes the cloth using Civil War recipe natural dyestuffs, such as logwood, sumac, etc and the only one that uses the single strand cotton warp thread, twisted cotton thread post dates the 1860s. It looks right, fades to resemble museum pieces and it is great cloth to work with.
