Sir, with all due respect, usually the time for such a request for units was about two months ago when most units were making out their schedules, especially for the smaller events. By now most units will have their calendars pretty much locked in for at least August and it will take something special for them to add a new event into a schedule (e.g., reenacting on the original battlefield, a major preservation effort, etc.)
Especially since I believe, correct me if I am wrong, but that is the weekend for New Market.

Birney's Div. is also having a school of instruction that weekend, however, my efforts here have not gone in vain... I have had positive reply, so... with all due respect, again I ask for any units in the local area to help out if interested. With gas prices the way they are, a lot of folks are staying closer to home and seeking more localized events. Thank you.![]()
