The Cedar Creek Supply Depot (late Jim Lammers) made an excellent 2 rivet scabbard for around $40. If they are doing business again, it can be strongly recommended. It compares favorably with products costing about 50% more.

Bob Martin, are you the polite young fellow who introduced himself at the Antique Arms Show on Saturday?
For the readers: I was standing at a table, lost in thought, when I realized someone was at my elbow and had spoken to me a couple of times. I apologized for being out of it. He asked me if I had seen any original Springfield bayonets. I think he decided to ask me because I was wearing a Sekela cap and my roundabout with sergeant's chevrons. As it happened, I had just examined two originals over by the snack bar, so I led him there. We had a nice chat. So, Bob, did you buy one of those pig stickers?

Bob,
Bully! You coming to At High Tide?
I told another fellow it was my first time there at the show; he said, "You'll be back," and I believe he's right.
