Illinois Rebels
I was just inquiring to see if anyone has read Illinois Rebels: A Civil War Unit History of G Company 15th Tennessee Regiment Volunteer Infantry? It was written by Ed Gleeson. I was interested in this book and found some reviews on the internet and wanted to see if I could get a couple opinions on it before I bought it.

A great one if you value Illinois history!!! You will learn of the 12 Apostles and the Traitor john logan!!!
It also opens up several doors for other books!!! This one has been on my shelf since it's release!!! Unknown Illinois history-or at least forgotten!

Thank you for the reply. I stumbled across this book today on the internet. I was familiar with notables like Bushrod Johnson and was aware of Illinois boys going to the South. I was able to read the introduction and first few pages and it hooked me. Again thanks for the reply.
