    Default Period Correct Irish Whistle

For those of you still playing those horrible 3 dollar aluminum looking whistles, or pining away for you plastic fippled whistle when you are at an event, I've got your upgrade.

I am selling my Ralph Sweet two-piece tunable rosewood Irish Whistle. If you have heard me play at an event in the past (recently W64) this is the one I always play. This is a professional grade hand turned whistle suitable for playing alone or with vocals and other instrumentation.

The whistle is in the key of D, a very popular key for Irish and other folk music, fingers and responds well, and switches octaves far easier than most I have played. Note that when I say the whistle is tunable, that does not mean you can change the key, you can however tune to another players D should you both not match at the outset or adjust based on weather conditions.

The only markings on this whistle are Ralph's makers mark, the key, and a serial number. These are branded in small hand lettered type.

Ralph is among the upper echelon of whistle makers and actually no longer makes this variety of whistle. He has recently swithced to doing higher end professional whistles.

Price is $100.00 (shipping included to lower 48 )
