    Default FS: U.S./C.S. Uniform Items

Satisfaction guaranteed. Payment options include Check/MO or Paypal. I prefer Paypal. Will consider trades for Original American First World War items, Second World War Soviet items, or bolt action military rifles. Also looking for a representative Great War Adrian Helmet (French, U.S. or Imperial Russian)

I lost the battery charger for my camera and have not replaced it. No pictures available.

    For Sale:

Pleated “Militia” Frock coat similar to Simon Buckner’s Kentucky State Guard coat, and very much like those worn by early South Carolina units (Gregg’s) made by Nick Sekela. He no longer offers these coats, to my understanding. This one has not been worn in the field, has been on my mannequin since I bought it. It is made of jean cloth, brown/grey in color. I am not sure who made the fabric. It is lined in a red/maroon checked home homespun cloth, and the tails are lined in matching polished cotton. Has tail pockets and is hand quilted in the chest. Currently has South Carolina State seal buttons from military Warehouse on it. Of course it has hand sewn buttonholes. Literally thousands of hand stitches. Basically brand new unworn condition. A 46/47 chest. Asking 350.00 shipped to your door. These were around 500.00 new. (I have images of this coat available if needed. )

Federal Forage Cap made by Tim Keune. Never worn, bought for me but was a bit too small on me. Very good reproduction, lined in brown polished cotton with makers label. One of the best around. 45.00 shipped.

Ohio State Jacket – size 46/48. Brand new, never worn. Made by Morris Clothiers, in Ohio using a very light, but period appropriate 10 ounce dark blue broadcloth. Sewn on an 1860’s period machine. Mostly machine sewn, as period appropriate, with hand details and hand buttonholes. Lined in a blue and light blue plaid pattern. Hand set osnaburg sleeve linings. A very good example of an Ohio Jacket, priced much below its value. $120.00 shipped.

SOLD! Columbus Depot jacket. Used. This jacket has a very veteran look to it, and has some light soiling. The body is a machine sewn garment made out of light gray jean cloth with dark blue cuffs and collar lined in cotton osnaburg. It has hand sewn topstitching and detail work including buttonholes. Plenty of life left in this jacket, and a great first “progressive” coat. I do not know the maker. Size 48. $70.00 dollars shipped. SOLD!

SOLD! Civilian double roller buckle belt made by E.J.Thomas (?) excellent quality with purportedly original buckles. Fits from 40 waist to 45 waist max. Like new, with very little wear. Has been oiled and is black in color. 45.00 shipped. SOLD!

SOLD PENDING FUNDS ! Nick Sekela reproduced Short’s Pattented Knapsack complete will all straps. Excellent reproduction in excellent unused shape. Has perfectly reproduced patent stamps, and custom made buckles to match the original. Asking 175.00 shipped, what I paid for it. They are over 200 new. SOLD PENDING FUNDS !

C.S./Civilian Trousers – Dark brown cotton corduroy with orange homespun waist lining and osnaburg pockets and flys. Sewn on period machine, with hand details. Made by me. Bone buttons. Mule ear pockets, made on a very good C.S./Civilian Trouser pattern. Size 39W x 31L. New Never worn $90.00

Bud, sorry for not posting the size on this site, I thought I had edited it! it is a smallish 7 or 7 1/8.

Someone has spoken for it from the AC though, pending funds.
