    Default Swords & scabbards

Okay, they're actually cutlasses. $105, postage paid, money order only. From left to right:

    1. CW period-correct pattern Navy cutlass scabbard with hanger. The hanger is pre-War pattern. Too small for the cutlass (Item 4).

    2. Post-CW period-correct pattern Navy cutlass scabbard with hanger. The hanger is CW pattern. Too small for the cutlass.

    3. CW period-correct pattern Navy cutlass scabbard with CW pattern hanger. Just barely big enough for the cutlass.

    4. Ames 1860 Navy cutlass made in India.

    5. Scabbard for Item 6. I haven't found a source that says it is not CW period. It has no hanger.

    6. Cutlass with correct hilt and handguard, made in India. Blade is more like a cavalry saber, slimmer and straighter than the other blade. I haven't found a source that says it is not CW period.

And I couldn't care less if any of these things is period-correct. You want to show off how much you know, go do it in the proper conference. I'm just trying to make room in the den.

Two pics of the hilts and one of the backs of the scabbards, same order as in the first pic.

I've just been asked if the $105 price is for everything or is that the price for each cutlass.

    How's that for an answer?

    Oh, yeah, postage IS PRE-PAID.

In a few days I'll ask the mods to delete all my open ads, then hold my nose and put it all up on eBay. The questions aren't any smarter but you're less likely to get jerked around, and when you are you can leave negative feedback.
