The unit farrier/ blacksmith and I have decided to put our heads together and try to reproduce a good curb bit with confederate or civilian background for ourselves and members of our squadron. Any insite or photos of originals would be greatly appreciated.

P.P.S Hand forged hoof pick pictures would be nice as well.
