Default Need a co for Gettysburg

This is my first post so bear with me.

My wife(chatrbug) and I are going to Gettysburg for the 145th. Our unit is not. Is there any Federal unit that will adopt a lowly private, his cook of a wife, and their children. We would like a mainstream unit, although we camp more authentic and our children are always in period dress at the events.

I have all the gear and have studied Hardees. I also served 4 years military so I do know my right from my left.

If anyone wants to take us in. Please let me know.

    Kevin White Pvt no class
    147th PVI(or any co. shooting)
Husband to Chatrbug. Shes Hardcore, I am somewhat softer.

    My fellow private,

I can talk to the 105th PVI for you. They are a nice mainstream group and they are part of our battalion.

What Gettysburg event do you speak of; at High tide or the main stream event? I am assuming you mean the main stream event. But if you need a home for High Tide and you want to find out what its like to campaign give me a shout. Take care pard.

    Default Huh?

Let me get my feet in the water a little before I dive in the ocean.

I barely have enough equipment to fight, let alone campaign.
