Default thinking about a business prospect...

would anyone be interested in buying boys trousers and shirts? i know in my quest to find my boys clothes, i was disheartened as all i could find was uniforms. i didnt want them in uniforms. thankfully i sew!! i know im not the only one with that problem though. i was thinking of doing some specialized sewing in boys trousers and shirts... perhaps adding newsboy hats and wool jackets as i make them for my boys.

I think that there would be a market for kids clothing. Friends of mine have trouble getting clothes for there son, and I know that she doesn't sew all that well....

Excellent idea. I have all kinds of trouble finding clothes for my son who grows like a weed in a cow pasture without paying outlandish sutler prices. Would you be thinking of making any clothes this winter?

While you're at it, why not set up an internet "hand-me-down" exchange? As kids out grow items, share them with the younger ones. This could work with clothing, shoes, toys, and so forth, and could be a goods exchange, with little monetary outlay.
Lots of kids wore hand-me-downs, and it would save the expense of new outfits every few months.

As in... a consignment store? You know... that is always an option.
