Default Ugly Mucket Now Open For Business!

    Fellow Reenactors,

I would like to introduce a NEW product that I hope you will all want to put in your haversack. Ugly Mucket is proud to introduce personalized CDV images with your mug shot and backmark. No soldier should be without a likeness of their sweetheart to carry into battle. No lady should be without one to remember her soldier fighting for his country. I got my start back in 1980 with the Mudsills and today I am in my 23rd year as a graphic designer, so I decided to combine my hobby and my occupation. I have yet to see anything like this offered, including our CDV (business cards). Take a gander, but don't stare!

Do you have "backmarks" in a "Southern" theme?

    Default CDV in the Haversack!?

Why would I want to put a picture of my loved one in my haversack? The true purpose of a haversack isnt to carry your wallett, or the weekend agenda, or extra clothing, or a CDV. Its to carry food and eating utensils! Thats it, nothing hiding in the dark on this one. And the reason for that is, ones haversack, providing you are carrying correct rations like coffee, sugar, hardtack and (gasp) salt pork, will become so filthy and crusted with food remenants that your personal items will become ruined in a short time period. Not to mention the ash and blackening from your canteen half or plate or tin cup for that matter. Im sure your CDVs are great, just shouldnt be put into your haversack.

Ditto on what Tex Confederate said...A "Southern Theme" would also be nice...and well appreciate...and errr...more easily explained to the Command Staff and the Supreme Commander, er..The Missus...

"My Captain shouted for us to "Fix bayonets!"....I told him that mine "Wasn't broken"!; Then the 1st Sgt said that "I was special..."; and THAT'S why I'm on picket duty...again..."
