Default Special Announcement from CJ Daley

Starting 9/15/07, we will be moving back to an all in-stock business and we will no longer be taking pre-orders for garments. Our long-time customers may recall this was how we did things a few years ago. In the short term, our focus will be catching up on your existing orders but after that, look for both new products and old favorites to be in stock and ready to ship.

We will take orders up until the 15th, so if you need something in a particular size and style, we'll take an order until then, after that, you'll have to deal with the pot luck of the in-stock page.

Default Best way to do it!!

That seems to be the best way for this kind of stuff, then there is no one asking if their gear is finished yet when you have lots of other orders to fill.

    Take care

I've done it both ways for years, the advantage in taking pre-orders is that folks have a say in the size, color and style of their garment. The advantage to the in stock system is that it satisfies the instant gratification gene we all seem to be born with.

BTW: I just visited your website Tyler and I think you make very nice garments, good luck with your business.

I guess nothing to strange happen at the event. I was sitting with Ben when you were talking about the weird feeling the event had. Seem to go alright as far as I could tell. It was great to see alot of good authentic vendors in one spot.

All in all a good event.

    Tyler,
The event did have a weird feeling, I usually have a 6th sense about stuff like that. Doesn't always mean something bad's going to happen, but just something 'big' will happen. I wouldn't have said anything unless Ben Tart said the same thing...very odd...

It was a good list of sutlers, when are we going to see get your own spot on 'da row'? We could use more good people like you on there.

    To all:
Just a reminder that you've got just over 5 days to get in the orders. After that, it'll be strictly instock only. I've been around for 11 years taking orders so this is your last chance to get the size, style and color you want, otherwise you'll be left with only the options available on the shelf at any given time....consider yourself warned...

I'll take this opportunity to say that I recently ordered a pair of Army blue trousers from Chris's stock, and additionally asked him to add sergeant's lace stripes to the legs. Not only did I get them >fast<, they are of excellent quality. I've only worn them in public twice and received several compliments on them.

Thanks for the compliment and the sale. Glad they were to your liking. Sorry I missed you at September Storm.
