    Default Request to posters

After you post a message, please read it as posted since you have a finite period in which you can edit your posts and fix the more glaring mistakes (e.g., quotes not properly defined, smilies improperly defined, gross spelling errors, etc.). I know that it is impossible to catch all of one's own typo's and spelling errors regardless of how thoroughly most of us can proof read (exceptions might be professional edittors such as Mr. Watson who have developed well trained skills), but many of the more glaring types that I have listed usually are apparent with even a quick re-reading. Thank you.

    "typo's"

Or you might spot the un-needed apostrophes in plural words.

Sorry, Tom. I have a [problem with - Provost] that ever since I read Lynne Truss's Eats, Shoots & Leaves: The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation.
