Default FS Original Sharps & Hankins Carbine Center fire

Here is an original Sharps & Hankins Cavalry model carbine that has been converted to center fire. It has a 2 inch long sleeve in the breach to allow it to use blanks made from .44 mag. brass. I used this gun for Civil War Reenacting and it has proven to be a reliable shooter and quite a conversation starter. The stock is in great shape and the metal has very little pitting but does not have much blueing or case coloring left. The front and rear sights are reproductions but the rest of the gun is all original. This would make a unique gun for reenacting or to own as a piece of real Civil War history. For picture see attachment.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a handsome, and well preserved body; but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming...."WOW!... What a ride!"

This is an amazing little gun, I saw it in action several years ago when Terry came to an event here in ohio.

I bought one from Terry a while back, This is a great gun, and the spectators LOVE it, especially when I let them give it a try...
