Default Looking for a unit in Western KY

I am currently stationed in Iraq, but I am looking for a unit in Western KY so that when I get back home, and out of the Army, I can begin the reenactment experience with. I've always wanted to do this, and once I am out of the Army, I plan to. I live near Hopkinsville, KY for a geographical reference.

    Thanks!

    Default Not a Problem

I appreciate your appreciation. (I think that sounded right, lol). Truth be told, I'm still just a normal guy like everyone else. We all have our jobs, and this one just so happens to be mine right now. My job is no more important than a doctor, a police officer, a factory worker, or even the guy who makes the boot laces for my combat boots (They don't let us wear Red Wings in the Army... ). Everyone plays a role in the American society. I personally want to thank each and everyone else who in some way contributes to the American way of life.

I notice that I wasn't very secific when I posted earlier... reason being... I guess I can't be if I am getting started into the hobby. I wouldn't mind finding a CSA unit in Western KY, since my family fought for the CSA. I thought there was a unit nearby where I live, but I have not been able to find a record of them on the internet. I am willing to dig into a rich history to better understand the times and culture. Thanks again to everyone.
