need help with sabre identification

I have a sabre marked Ames Mfg. Co. Chicopee Mass on one side of the blad, the other has US ,ADK, 1862. The drage of the scabbrd also has ADK stamped on it.

The blad is in mint condition and the guard while it has the patina, there is a serial number stamp of 2138 on the brass guard.

The grip is complete and the wire is in tact.

Sounds like a model 1860 saber. What else do you need to know?
