WARNING TO ALL REENACTORS

Just want to post a warning to all perspective customers who are thinking of making purchases from Gala Rock Sutler basked in Arkansas. My wife purchased a dress from this company about three or four years ago. Since then she has lost a lot of weight and had to have it taken in. My wife gave the dress back to the owner of Galla Rock at the Cedar Creek reenactment in October of 2004, to have it altered.
Since then my wife has tried on several occassions to get the dress back regardless if had been altered or not. Now almost two years later Galla Rock's owner will not even return my wife's emails or phone calls. All my wife wants is her dress returned to her.
We are looking for help to get this resolved. We also feel we must pass on our warning to all reenactors to watch out and to consider this priorto dealing with Galla Rock.

Sorry about your troubles.

I have had trouble with Galla Rock also...but not over something as expensive as a dress. It was just a pattern...but it got to where emails and phone calls wouldn't be answered. I eventually went through my credit card company (paypal couldn't help it had been way too long) and they gave me a credit and that got the ball rolling...got my pattern.

I love Galla Rock patterns I think they are some of the best...but buy them in person at a sutler don't order them from the website.

Hope your wife gets her dress back!!!
