Twenty First Georgia Co. I
Hello Friends,
We are now recruiting men in Georgia for Company "I" of the Twenty-first Georgia Volunteer Infantry. This unit is newly formed, as of 18 March 2007. We formed this unit with the mind set of becoming more authentic to the 1860 era than most of our peers. This unit predicates itself on a good, core group, of reenactors with open minds, and a willingness to learn.
We currently have the ability to attend a multitude of different styles of events, from Progressive to Mainstream. If you would like to join a unit that can "take it easy" at a family style reenactment one weekend, and live out of your haversack the next weekend, then you may want to give us a try. We have extra equipment and uniforms to loan, so if you would like to give it a try and see what we are all about, than please contact one of us on the "contacts page". We enjoy having new people try reenacting, so don't feel intimidated. Physical mistakes we expect, having the proper attitude is really what matters.
