I posted these originally over at the AC site but need to get rid of these soon.
1. Girls dark blue/white plaid cotton day dress, short sleeves drawn into "poufs", wide neckline, piped neck & armscyes and gathered full skirt. The cotton is very firmly woven and sturdy. The bodice is trimmed with a bias ruching of self-fabric and the dress comes with a little belt made of a deep red/beige printed cotton/linen blend with a self-fabric rossette at front fastening. Made for my sister but was never worn. Measurements are:
Bust: 29"
Waist: 24"
Length: 17.5"
Bodice Length at Front (To waistband): 8.5" I would guess this at a modern girls size 8 or so, but the best way to tell is to check measurements.
2. Boys/Mens brown linen/cotton blend civilian trousers. These were my brothers before he got out of reenacting and were worn 2 or 3 times. On one occasion he ripped an area in the back of the pants and they were necessarily patched with a contrasting repro print fabric. Bone buttons of various color, handmade buttonholes, most seams hand-felled to prevent fraying. There is some slight blackish-grey discoloration in a few areas (grease?) I have no idea what this might have come from but am thinking it might have come from the black leather ends of his braces that he wore with the trousers. The braces would be included also with these trousers.
Waist: 36"
Inseam length: 27.5"
Asking $25 apiece for these items, please email me at dmsjmeister@peoplepc.com if interested and I can send pics (not sure how to post pics on the forum!)
Thanks!
Sarah
